Indian e-Visa requirements for Myanmar citizens

In order to encourage visitors to visit India, the Government implemented a simpler system that allowed them to obtain an entry visa online. Currently, people from more than 150 countries could obtain an Electronic Visa for India (e-Visa). Applying for a travel visa online eliminates the need to visit an Embassy or wait in line for hours at the border control. The scheme was improved in April 2017 and is no longer limited to tourist visas. The new procedure provides subcategories for an India business visa for Myanmar citizens and medical travelers. Furthermore, it significantly enlarged the number of qualified countries.

Citizens from more than 150 countries can now obtain an e-Visa. Applicants must fill out an online form, pay the visa fee, and receive an email with a printable e-visa that is accepted at most Indian points of entry, including airports and seaports.
